| Currently this case is in
limbo. The District Attorney closed it November 1, 2001. It
remains open on Bald Head Island. Some feel it doubtful that the
murderers will ever be found unless the guilty were to come
forward and confess. Although the Buff family has received some
degree of peace from the decisions of the hearings that have
been held, they still seek justice for their daughter. |
